Dix infernal
Released: March 19th, 2003
Type: album
Duration: 44:24
Dix infernal is the first album Moi dix Mois produced, and was released exactly one year after the band was formed. For some reason, the lyrics in this album are full of more self-hatred and depression than usual, and whereas there is usually a form of hope expressed, that's not quite the case here.

Thoughts
If you liked Dialogue Symphonie, you're going to love Dix infernal. It's the very same style and features, again, lots of keyboarding and drumming, although you start to hear more classical elements in the background this time. So there's a bit of light experimentation here and there , but for the most part, they're still rocking out as the same Moi dix Mois we heard last time.
A lot of the time, when I'm listening to Dix infernal, I can feel myself encompassed in a billowing cloud of inner turmoil (unless I'm headbanging, like with La dix croix and Priêre). More beautiful singing on the part of Juka; I think instrumental versions of songs with lyrics were ignored on this album because vocals were needed to properly reach the audience this time. This is probably one of the darkest Moi dix Mois albums, and is pretty heavy (though not as heavy as Beyond the Gate).
